Creating a Meaningful Life
I can tell things are accelerating when I blink and it’s almost spring! Not
only am I feeling that acceleration through the passage of time, I am also noticing
an increase in intensity of desire of the people I work with to get on with it!
Get on with their lives, I mean… to get on with living lives that are more authentic,
more reflective of the truth of their own potential, more expansive and welcoming
of their curiosity and sense of play and, perhaps most pressing, more authentically
a reflection of the sacred presence that they know themselves to be.
The time for waiting is long over. It really is up to each of us to find our
own path. Yet, as much as we need to do it ourselves, we don’t need to do it
alone. Nor do we have to reinvent the wheel and struggle with where and how
to start the process. For more on both of these notions, visit my Emerging
Futures blog entries for both March
14th and March15th.
Engaging for a more meaningful life does not need to cost a lot of money. Before considering personal coaching and/or program/retreat intensives, you can choose to read a book or listen to a CD. You can engage in conversation with someone in your life that you experience as more provocative in their thinking than you are. You can journal and allow yourself to discover what you have to say! You can send yourself an email, asking yourself some of your more difficult questions…and then answer them! It doesn’t have to be hard or complicated or expensive – but you do have to engage.
Over the last year, we’ve discovered that women (and men) are awakening at an
accelerating rate from their experience of the Women
and Power CD’s and/or their experience of the Sekhmet
Rising book. Not only for themselves but for the ease with which they
can share their thoughts, challenges and insights with others who are meaningful
to them.
We’re discovering that in addition to the more formal experience with the CD’s and/or book with a certified WEL-Systems Facilitator, small, self-directed groups are taking shape. In these experiences, women are agreeing to listen to a particular CD or read a specific chapter and then agree to come together in conversation the following week. When they gather, what they discuss is not the CD or chapter content but what each of them discovered about themselves as they read or listened. This process is inviting a degree of self-discovery and revelation that is changing lives – quickly, easily and with a small investment of time and money.
However you choose to do it for yourself, we encourage you to just ENGAGE! If you already have WEL-Systems books and/or CD’s, don’t let them sit on a shelf and collect dust – share them with someone you care about. Dare to reveal your model of the world. Invite someone into your life and allow yourself to step into theirs. Allow yourself to know and be known. You might be both amazed and delighted by who you discover yourself to be.
If you don’t yet have your WEL-Systems material and are curious, you can visit our new online Storefront and browse. You can also visit the Free
Articles section of our website and read to your heart’s content. And last but not least, you can browse the Coming
Attractions section of the Newsletter to find WEL-Systems based programs in your area. The point isn’t where you begin, it’s THAT you begin.
It doesn’t have to take a lot of time or money. It doesn’t need masters or gurus or experts. But what is does require is for you and I to show up for our own lives, from one day to the next; one breath at a time. And that means that the time to begin is now!
Be WEL!
